Parents are expected to support the school uniform, which is:

  • Black shoes (no trainers)

In the Summer children may wear either:

  • Grey trousers or plain blue shorts
  • Skirts and dresses should be worn with white socks or blue / black / grey tights.
  • Socks and school shoes should be worn at all times.

In addition all children will need:

  • A P.E. kit consisting of a white t-shirt, blue shorts/black, black elasticated pump. For outdoor games, children may wear track suits and training shoes

There is no uniform requirement for coats.

Any headwear worn inside the classroom should be for religious purposes only and be in the school colours, black or white.

Make sure that all clothing is named as children may loose jumpers and cardigans!

If a child is not wearing the correct uniform, you may receive a phone call asking you to bring the correct uniform to school. We will expect children to change into their pumps if shoes are worn that are not part of the school uniform.

Jewellery and Personal Belongings

Extreme styles of dress or hairstyles, such as contrasting lengths and/or hair dye are not appropriate for school. Jewellery should not be worn in school, as it can be a source of danger in some lessons. Pupils who have pierced ears may only wear ONE  pair of small studs and these need to be removed during PE and swimming lessons. Pupils wishing to have their ears pierced should do so at the beginning of the summer holiday, therefore avoiding problems during swimming and PE lessons. With the exception of 1 pair of stud type earrings in the ears, all other body piercings are not appropriate for school for safety reasons, and must not be worn in school.

Children are discouraged from bringing personal items into school as we will not take any responsibility for loss or damage.
