Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education, including Relationships and Sex Education
In June 2026, the Central Co-operative Learning Trust (CCLT), of which Greenfield Primary School is a member, revised its Trust Policy for the Teaching of Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education, including Relationships and Sex Education, in line with the Department for Education's revised statutory guidance which came into effect on 1st September 2026.
Parents and Carers, Staff and Governors of each CCLT school were asked to provide feedback on the policy and associated documentation, to ensure the policy fulfils all statutory requirements and meets the needs of all pupils in all CCLT schools. The consultation closed on the 10th July 2026. Many stakeholders across all CCLT schools responded to the consultation questionnaire to share their views, and appropriate amendments were then made to the draft policy.
